how would i rearrange this equation: K=1/2mv^2 to solve for m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you would divide by v instead of multiply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I believe you would divide by 1/2m, (multiply by 2m) on either side, then take the square root of each side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really I thought you had to divide by v srry my bad listen to her/him I guess lol srry again do not get confused, because of two different answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[K = \frac{ 1 }{ 2 }*m*v ^{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To solve for this: step one: multiply both sides by 2 step two: divide both sides by v^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I was right???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought you had to follow through PEMDAS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone do the steps and show me how it looks b/c im not getting it
