yes she was, was that normal for a black women to work in a white house not trying to be raciest

yes its not racist its just a bad time in our history, but that was common to find a black woman in a white household

During those times, I think most of the colored people had their own family farms, but I think it was immensely frowned upon that she worked in a white folk house.
