OpenStudy (anonymous):

im sorry @dumbcow help i know how this can be annoying

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

haha no problem, if it gets annoying i'll log off :) ok Volume = AreaBase * height base is a right triangle

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

can you find area of the triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok 12 times 5 equals 60 divided by 2 gives me 30? @dumbcow

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

very good ... now multiply by height

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so multiply 5 again did i do something wrong? @dumbcow

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

oh sorry height of prism not height of triangle imagine you stand the figure up so triangle is facing ground...then the "height" of prism is 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay but that is not my answer right am im multiplying 14 by what @dumbcow

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

Volume = AreaBase*height Volume = 30 * 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that gives 420 @dumbcow

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK would that be my final answer @dumbcow
