Coordinate Algebra Help!
A candle is 7in tall after burning for 1 hour. The same candle is 5 1/2in tall after burning for 4 hours. Write a linear equation to model the height y after burning for x hours.
y = ___x + 7 1/2

ok so we have 2 candles both the same size apparently, one is 7 inches tall after 1 hour and the other is 5 1/2 after 4 hours

so i would assume that 5 1/2 is equal to 5.5 so i would do 5.5=4x+7.5

and then you just distribute i think, im probably messing this up really bad lol
