@jessicawade

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

ok so we have 2 candles both the same size apparently, one is 7 inches tall after 1 hour and the other is 5 1/2 after 4 hours

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

y=height x= hours

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

so lets try pluging in the numbers

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

so i would assume that 5 1/2 is equal to 5.5 so i would do 5.5=4x+7.5

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

and then you just distribute i think, im probably messing this up really bad lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So... y = 4x + 7 1/2 ?

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

i think so i dont really remember 9th grade math lol i took geometry

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

wait i lied i took coordinante algebra

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

you take geometry next year lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well 4 was incorrect.

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

darn it
