OpenStudy (lizz123):

@jessicawade

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

it says write a general formula do describe the variation: M varies jointly with the cube root of the difference B and b

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

*to

OpenStudy (lizz123):

sorry I can't help I did not get to that lesson yet

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

darn ok

OpenStudy (lizz123):

sorry :(

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

I'm not sure why they put "jointly" when \(\large \sqrt[3]{B-b}\) is one quantity on its own. It's not 2 separate terms.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

maybe they meant to say "M varies with the cube root of the difference B and b" ?

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

i found it it was \[x=k^3 \sqrt B-b\]

OpenStudy (jessicawade):

*M

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

that's not a direct variation though
