As a delegate to the First Continental Congress meeting before the Battles of Lexington and Concord, write a few sentences explaining what course you think the colonies should take next.

The First Continental Congress was to establish a combined authority to Great Britain. Yet, No one could make up their mind on anything and every colony had different outlooks on what should be done. New York and Pennsylvania intentions were to voice colonial rights and to come up with a solution in order to seek peace with sovereign England. The other colonies were not in favor of colonial rights. Virgin was a mixture of what all the colonies wanted. It was commonly agreed that Parliament and the King had to understand the grievances of each colonies. At first, there were a decent amount of trust issues they had to see past in order to come up with solutions. Then, Plan of Union of Great Britain came into consideration. This plan was to have equalization of the colonies and to address each problem as a whole but still individualized. There would be Grand Council. I agreed with this solution until the English parliament wanted a king of America. In my opinion, much like in todays society each state should be strictly individualized with their own government. I realize that the "King of America" would be referred to as President in modern society. I understands colonies make their own mistakes and foolishness so the colonies needed a leader, a man of great authority. There was to much bickering and war and slaves and plenty of factors that played into this but at the end of the day most fights were just because of their opinions offending a different states opinion. There was also money, power, and trade that became an issue as well. What I think the next step should have been was to find a way to have the least amount of conflict. States should be able to trade with states that had the same intentions, should be able to come up with overall agreement to what is right and best for themselves and cope with grieving in their own ways because no one grieves the same. I don’t believe there needed to be so much conflict. Although, fighting is inevitable to avoid and always will be, but a girl can dream.
