can someone help me with this problem, i dont want answers but solution please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the one in the picture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe I'm missing something, but what picture?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3xy^-1-y(3x)^-1)/(1-y(3x)^-1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Thefaceless

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it equal to anything or is it just an expression?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you post a pic?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its expression :) you just need to simplify it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 3xy ^{-1}-y(3x)^{-1} }{ 1-y(3x)^{-1} }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this the expression?

OpenStudy (aum):

Multiply top and bottom by 3x to get rid of \((3x)^{-1}\). Multiply top and bottom by y to get rid of \(y^{-1}\). Factor the numerator and the denominator. Cancel any common factor.
