4x^2+8x-5=(2x-1)(2x+5)=0
2x-1=0 ---->x=1/2 2x+5=0---->x=-5/2 x=1/2,-5/2
can you dothe same problem but by using the quadratic formula
\[\frac{ -b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} }{ 2a }\]
a=4, b=8 , c=-5
