what is spamming on open study look like?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Hey there! Spamming is when you do any one of the following: \(\bullet\) Posting a question multiple times within a short period of time. \(\bullet\) Posting a question that is off topic for a particular group (i.e. posting a \(\bullet\) physics question in the Mathematics group). \(\bullet\) Posting a reply that is not relevant to the topic of discussion within that question. \(\bullet\) Posting questions that are not, in fact, questions (for example, starting a question in the Mathematics group to wish someone "Happy Birthday"). \(\bullet\) Sending the same chat message repeatedly. \(\bullet\) Filing false abuse reports on a user repeatedly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about inappropriate pictures or usernames?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

That is also not allowed and the account may be banned.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

The main reason is we can not tag that user also.. because of the filters

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

This is called trying to bypass the filter. http://prntscr.com/5e16rk

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol,// okay, because one time, someone posted something inappropriate. I reported it but...what happens to the person that did that?

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

the moderators would receive the report and deal with the situation :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Yes but then there is this user http://openstudy.com/users/pellet Try tagging him @pellet

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Also like some peoples names also get filtered like John Hanwingspan

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):
