Well, I honestly don't know how to write these 2 different (one with a 162.5 per day, and the other with a 178.40 per day) functions as one line. I hope this is not what your teacher asks you to do, being that it is an impossible task.
Nor do I think that it has to do with discontinuity, (of a combination of 2 lines that would make it piece wise).

What I would do, is follow what God loves me, says.

Sure :) standard form is ax+by=c
Y=189x-50 so subtract 189x from both side
Y-189x= -50
