I have a couple questions about trinomials! Fan + Medal :)

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

@FibonacciChick666

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

Are you good at trinomials? @FibonacciChick666

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

you should post the question. I have no clue until you do

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

Factor completely 3x2 + x + 7. (3x + 1)(x + 7) (3x + 7)(x + 1) Prime (3x + 4)(x + 3)

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

3x^2 *

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

ok, so, can you pull anything out?

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

The 3 x ^2?

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

nope,

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

trick question, there is nothing common, can't ull anything out

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

so now, best way to go about this is to just apply the quadratic formula in my book, or foil out each of your answers and see if they line up

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

Okay, how would I do that? I'm not good at these haha

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

well what is the quadratic formula?

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

idk

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

well find it then

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

If I dont know it how am I supposed to "find" it

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

hello?

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

x + 7?

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):
