Thanks guys!

OpenStudy (ria23):

... I'm leaning toward mess...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is mess, because when you put mess in a sentence it just sounds informal.

OpenStudy (ria23):

Shovel doesn't have a formal way of writing it tho... Whereas mes, yhu could say disaster or something like that~

OpenStudy (ria23):

mess*

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

Informal tones can use cliches...such as " shovel our way out "

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Every time you use mess, it will come out informal: Ex: "Pick Up This Mess!" Ex: "May you please pick up that shovel and hand it to me?" Shovel is used formal here.

OpenStudy (ria23):

It's asking for a word, not a phrase. Shovel would be used formal in this case.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I am having trouble with this because " mess " sounds informal....but so does " shovel our way out ". However, it is asking for one word...so I have to say " mess"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am still with Mess, I say it is used informally.

OpenStudy (ria23):

Go with mess and let us know. c:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it were a phrase in the sentence, then I would say "Shovel our way out"

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

me too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks For the Medal! :D

OpenStudy (ria23):

Yhur welcome. c:
