Fan, Testimonial, and medal! would someone please read my first 3 paragraphs for my essay and let me know if anything needs revision?

The Rastafari religion was founded way later than Buddhism. In fact, it wasn’t founded until November 2,1930. Buddhism has about 36 times the adherents than Rastafari. These are just two ways these religions are different, but some people can go on and on about the differences and similarities they have.

One of the major differences between these two religions, is the belief of afterlife. Buddhists believe in rebirth and nirvana, when Rastafarians believe in reincarnation. Most people believe that there isn’t a difference between rebirth and reincarnation. Reincarnation is the assumption of another body by a permanent, eternal self, while rebirth is where the self conscious of a human dissolves and only a subtle mindstream remains. The mindstream carries karmic imprints from past lives. If a person passes away, they could be reborn as either an animal or a human in upper or lower realms.

The most significant symbols in the Rastafarian religion is the Cannabis plant. By inhaling marijuana, it has been said to help reach a higher level of spirituality while meditating. Buddhists believe that the Eternal Knot, commonly known as the Mandala. Mandalas represent eternal harmony. They also believe that the Lotus flower resembles purity and enlightenment. Both the symbols in both religions seem to be very substantial within the religious values and helps with their spiritual heights.

Paragraph 3: What does Mandala do? It just says in that sentence: Buddhists believe that the Eternal Knot, commonly known as the Mandala. Maybe merge the next sentence.
