A car is traveling at a rate of 44 feet per second. What is the car's rate in miles per hour? How many miles will the car travel in 5 hours? In your computations, use the fact that 1 mile is equal to 5280 feet. Do not round your answers.

Ok. if per second you travel 44 feet. 44 times 60=2640 feet which is how fast per minute for hour, multiply by 60 again 2640 times 60=158400 feet an hour divide that by 5280 since that's how many feet are in a mile you get 30 mph. 5 hours= 30 times 5=150 miles in 5 hrs
