OpenStudy (dtan5457):

tricky wording..not sure what they are asking. hm...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A man buys a car priced at $3,300. He agrees to pay each month, beginning one month after the purchase date, $100 on the debt plus an interest charge of 1% of the debt outstanding during the month. Find the total amount which the buyer will pay.

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

so each month since he is in debt, it goes up a dollar per month, the first month he pays 100, the second 101, the third 102, etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what is the answer

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

still solving

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

@SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

wait I did that backwards, the debt is 33 dollars per month, still solving

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

minus 100 dollar debt which makes the interest harder
