OpenStudy (nikato):

Any idea how to start?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know you need to pick two points and put them into that equation im just a little fuzzy and don't have my notes

OpenStudy (nikato):

Ok. Lets pick two points (-6,0) and (0,-2) Can you find the slope?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2/-6

OpenStudy (nikato):

Yes. And you can simplify to -1/3 So that's the slope. And if you look at your graph, the line intercepts at the y-axis at -2

OpenStudy (nikato):

And remember slope intercept form is y=mx+b Where m=slope and b=y-intercept So lug them in y= -1/3x -2
