\(\ \LaTeX\) tutorial
@Daniel_Chernioglo @~ First thing you should know is that you open it with `\(` and end it with `\)`
yes...
You just paste the codes tight in the text box, just as if you would post any reply
right*
oh ok!
So for example `\(\Huge\color{red}{Hi!!}\)` Copy and paste that and see what you get :)
\(\Huge\color{red}{Hi!!}\)
haha cool
``` \(\Huge\color{#ff0000}{W}\color{#ff2000}{e}\color{#ff4000}{l}\color{#ff5f00}{c}\color{#ff7f00}{o}\color{#ffaa00}{m}\color{#ffd400}{e}~\color{#bfff00}{t}\color{#80ff00}{o}~\color{#00ff00}{O}\color{#00ff40}{p}\color{#00ff80}{e}\color{#00ffbf}{n}\color{#00ffff}{S}\color{#00aaff}{t}\color{#0055ff}{u}\color{#0000ff}{d}\color{#2300ff}{y}\color{#4600ff}{!}\color{#6800ff}{!}\color{#8b00ff}{!}\) Hey there!!! Since you are new here, read this legendary tutorial for new OpenStudiers!! http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/543de42fe4b0b3c6e146b5e8 ``` Will get you \(\Huge\color{#ff0000}{W}\color{#ff2000}{e}\color{#ff4000}{l}\color{#ff5f00}{c}\color{#ff7f00}{o}\color{#ffaa00}{m}\color{#ffd400}{e}~\color{#bfff00}{t}\color{#80ff00}{o}~\color{#00ff00}{O}\color{#00ff40}{p}\color{#00ff80}{e}\color{#00ffbf}{n}\color{#00ffff}{S}\color{#00aaff}{t}\color{#0055ff}{u}\color{#0000ff}{d}\color{#2300ff}{y}\color{#4600ff}{!}\color{#6800ff}{!}\color{#8b00ff}{!}\) Hey there!!! Since you are new here, read this legendary tutorial for new OpenStudiers!! http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/543de42fe4b0b3c6e146b5e8
so...Huge stands for the text size, color-well color of text, and then the text
Exactly and you need to hav ~ for spaces
have ~ for **
aha
you really need all that code just to get Welcome to OpenStudy?
Yes because I used a lot of colors in it
``` \(\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\\\huge \rlap{\bbox[3pt, ,border:7px solid red ]{\Huge\color{#20bd23}{\rm \fbox{TheSmartOne}}}}\hspace{185pt}\huge \rlap{\bbox[3.5pt, ,border:7px solid red ]{\Huge\color{#20bd23}{\rm \fbox{is}}}}\) \(\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\) \(\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}} \) \(\huge \huge \rlap{\bbox[5.9pt, ,border:7px solid Red ]{\Huge\color{#20bd23}{\rm \fbox{Awesome}}}}\) \(\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\) ``` gets you \(\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\\\huge \rlap{\bbox[3pt, ,border:7px solid red ]{\Huge\color{#20bd23}{\rm \fbox{TheSmartOne}}}}\hspace{185pt}\huge \rlap{\bbox[3.5pt, ,border:7px solid red ]{\Huge\color{#20bd23}{\rm \fbox{is}}}}\) \(\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\) \(\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}} \) \(\huge \huge \rlap{\bbox[5.9pt, ,border:7px solid Red ]{\Huge\color{#20bd23}{\rm \fbox{Awesome}}}}\) \(\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\Huge \color{gold}{\star^{ \star^{\star}}}\)
so how would i know what color this is: (#ff0000)?
lets see `\(\Huge\color{#ff0000}{What~color~does~this~look~like?}\)` Paste it and see.
Red
can i just use: \color{red}
\(\Huge\color{blue}{Hello~Everyone!!!}\)
Also there are many fonts such as sf `\(\Huge\sf Hi\)` gets you \(\Huge\sf Hi\) tt `\(\Huge\tt Hi\)` gets you \(\Huge\tt Hi\) it `\(\Huge\it Hi\)`gets you \(\Huge\it Hi\) bf `\(\Huge\bf Hi\)` gets you \(\Huge\bf Hi\) rm `\(\Huge\rm Hi\)` gets you \(\Huge\rm Hi\) cal `\(\Huge\cal Hi\)` gets you \(\Huge\cal Hi\) scr `\(\Huge\scr Hi\)` gets you \(\Huge\scr Hi\) Frak `\(\Huge\frak Hi\)` gets you \(\Huge\frak Hi\)
`\(\Large \underline{Hi~there!!}\)` gets you \(\Large \underline{Hi~there!!}\)
so how would i get the \(\Huge\cal Hi\) to be red?
There are a lot of fonts such as \tiny `\(\tiny Hi~there!\)` \(\tiny Hi~there!\) \Tiny `\(\Tiny Hi~there!\)` \(\Tiny Hi~there!\) \scriptsize `\(\scriptsize Hi~there!\)` \(\scriptsize Hi~there!\) \small `\(\small Hi~there!\)` \(\small Hi~there!\) \ normalsize `\(\normalsize Hi~there!\)` \(\normalsize Hi~there!\) I'll put the rest up in a second, let me first answer your question.
`\(\Huge\cal Hi\)` \(\Huge\cal Hi\) That is your current code. To add color you put \color{coloryouwant}{Text you want} right after the font or if you do not have any font then after the size. So `\(\Huge\cal\color{red}{ Hi}\)` \(\Huge\cal\color{red}{ Hi}\) @Daniel_Chernioglo
oh ok soo... \(\small\cal\color{green}{Hello!!!}\)
\(\Huge\color {Orange}{:)}\)
And the rest of the fonts. \large `\(\large Hi~there!\)` \(\large Hi~there!\) \Large `\(\Large Hi~there!\)` \(\Large Hi~there!\) \LARGE `\(\LARGE Hi~there!\)` \(\LARGE Hi~there!\) \huge `\(\huge Hi~there!\)` \(\huge Hi~there!\) \Huge `\(\Huge Hi~there!\)` \(\Huge Hi~there!\)
sorry i'm not daniel :(

Here is what you are supposed to write: `\(\href{http:///openstudy.com/code-of-conduct}{\sf \huge Code~of~Conduct}\)` The problem was you are supposed to put the link where Code-of-Conduct is. And put three /// after http. Hope that helps. To put hyperlinks you have to have 3 \\\ 's \(\href{http:///openstudy.com/code-of-conduct}{\sf \huge Code~of~Conduct}\)
so how would i insert #00FF17 to color in \(\cal Hi\) ?

http://openstudy.com/updates/548336a3e4b0a7e6161a16f6 Also this post has some cool LaTeX.
One way to see the code is right click and press "show math as" and then "tex commands" and then you just have to add `\(` at the beginning and `\)` at the end.
\(\Huge\cal\color{#19FF00}{H}\color{#00FFB8}{e}\color{#005CFF}{l}\color{#4700FF}{l}\color{#8C00FF}{o}\)
and what you showed me above, about the "tex commands", it doesnt let me add the \( and the \)
oh my
\(
and \)
thanks for your help @TheSmartOne :)
No problem :)
@Daniel_Chernioglo You have to add those yourself. I know, it is very dumb.
Forestgreen an lime are my favorite colors. Then comes gold and teal.
@AnswerMyQuestions, thats the problem, I cant add them :(
@markchernioglo, come here :)
hey hi
This is pretty cool, you can learn it to if you want :)
I want to.
\(\Huge\color {#00FFB8}{:)}\)
man I want to know how to do that
\(\Huge\cal\color{#19FF00}{G}\color{#00FFB8}{o}\color{#005CFF}{o}\color{#4700FF}{d}\)
just read whats above
Good
/(\HUGE\#00FFB8{blue}{I THINK I GOT IT!!!}\)
nope I didnt
the first part, very virst
it should be \ not /
were?
the first sign you have, oh and then where you have I think i got it, you should have ~ instead of spaces
\(\HUGE\#00FFB8{blue}{I THINK I GOT IT!!!}\)
no everything!!!!!!
\(\Huge\color{#00FFB8}{I~THINK~I~GOT~IT!!!}\)
how I dont get it
right click on the text and click "show math as" and then click "Tex commands"
\Huge\color{#00FFB8}{I~THINK~I~GOT~IT!!!}
nope doesnt work.
lol
\(\Huge\color{#00FFB8}{I~THINK}~\color{#00FF17}{I~GOT}~\color{#BA00FF}{IT!!!}\)
lol, bro you have to add \( in the beginning and then add
\) at the end
this is what you had: \Huge\color{#00FFB8}{I~THINK~I~GOT~IT!!!}
\(\Huge\color{#00FFB8}{I~THINK~I~GOT~IT!!!}\)
Yup I think i did get it. :)
\(\Huge\cal\color{#19FF00}{G}\color{#00FFB8}{r}\color{#005CFF}{e}\color{#4700FF}{a}\color{#8C00FF}{t!!!}\)
\(\Huge\cal\color{#19FF00}{Y}\color{#00FFB8}{U}\color{#005CFF}{P}\)
:)
I need to decide if I like green or forestgreen better,
\(\Huge\color{#FF008A}{Whatcha doin}\)
\(\Huge\color{#FF008A}{CHOCOLATE!!!!!!}\)
\(\Huge\color{#D100FF}{LOL}\)
\(\Huge\color{#FF008A}{\heartsuit\whatcha doin}\)
\(\Huge\color{#FF008A}{\infty\Whatcha doin}\)
Good job everyone :)

\(\Huge\color{#FF008A}{\heartsuit\Whatcha doin}\
\(\Huge\color{#FF008A}{\infnty\Whatcha doin}\
add ) at the end :)
Huh?
\(\Huge\color{#FF008A}{\infnty\Whatcha doin}\← add )
^^^^ That is what you do.
