This is the definition .......... “The expository essay is a genre of essay that requires the student to investigate an idea, evaluate evidence, expound on the idea, and set forth an argument concerning that idea in a clear and concise manner. This can be accomplished through comparison and contrast, definition, example, the analysis of cause and effect, etc.” (From the Purdue OWL)

this means that you need to write a detailed essay on your topic with proof and evidence.

Can i attach my like...presentation i made a week ago? We were told to make a PRESENTATION on our topic and now we have to turn the presentation topic into a expository.

My teacher is not emailing me back on how to really write it so i figured id ask how to here. I am not looking for you to write my paper, i just need a little umph or "tips".

OpenStudy (girlover):

here is what I would do if I were you. I would summarize every page that you have witten on your presentation and put it all together because you have al the information you need . All you have to do is revise your work and make it into a detailed essay in wich you made a detailed presentation so this means just make an essay out of what you have.

Oh okay so i basically have an Expository INSIDE of a Presentation?

OpenStudy (girlover):

yes ma'am^.^
