All of the following are volcanoes created from lava and ash except: a. Composite c. Shield b. Cindercone d. Caldera
Definitions of each of those volcanoes: A stratovolcano, also known as a composite volcano, is a conical volcano built up by many layers (strata) of hardened lava, tephra, pumice, and volcanic ash. A shield volcano is a type of volcano usually built almost entirely of fluid lava flows. Cindercones are a steep, conical hill consisting of glassy volcanic fragments that accumulate around and downwind from a volcanic vent. Cinder cones range in size from tens to hundreds of meters tall. A caldera is a cauldron-like volcanic feature usually formed by the collapse of land following a volcanic eruption. They are sometimes confused with volcanic craters.
