The keyboard instruments evolved from which other instrument? Please help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

hint: which instrument is hammered/plucked like the strings of a piano and is scaled like it? (not flute)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a harp because its another version of the piano which strings from the harp

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

@LyricalDevonne did you know that there is a "Give Help, Not Answers" rule here on OpenStudy? http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i gave help by explaining sleepy

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

but you gave the answer and that is the "Not Answers" part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

god just sh your annoying

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

@LyricalDevonne I see that you are not new here so you should know the rules, but in case you need to refresh your memory, \(\bf {please~review~the~Code~of~Conduct~}{\href{http:///openstudy.com/code-of-conduct}{\bf \color{red}{here}}}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im good

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

@LyricalDevonne please be respectful to other users:) Don't tell them to 'sh'. If I were you, I'd be the one keeping my mouth shut. Respect other users as you'd respect the elders, parents moderators or Ambassadors. Thank you:)!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha ask emcormick i dont really care i helped him i dont need him to tell me some rule haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you ban me for helping then theres a problem

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Ah it is fine now, just make sure to guide the user more instead of explaining and then giving the answer. Give the user a link to a site that gives and explains the answer, but the user will have to read some. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you sammi! this is why i fanned you

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

I honestly see that you did not give a direct answer. I see that you gave an explanation along with you're answer. Ambassadors don't ban, it's moderators.

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Yes, it is just if you give an explination then the answer, the user will look straight at the answer, and won't look at the explination. So instead of saying this: its a harp because its another version of the piano which strings from the harp You can say this: A keyboard instrument, such as a piano, is similar to what other instrument with strings, but no keys. What instrument can this be? ^ I gave that my best shot. Haha :)

sammixboo (sammixboo):

You give them another question that can answer their original question :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well ok thats all im saying cuz i tend to blow up and i dont wanna sooooooooooo bye:) thank you @sami:)

sammixboo (sammixboo):

That is one method of answering questions without giving the direct answer. No problem!

OpenStudy (abhisar):

@lyricaldevonne It's better to guide the asker to answer rather than simply telling them the answer. Though you added an explanation but still we discourage giving out answers without letting the asker at least take some part in the analysis - the aim of this site is to teach. Also by using this website wthr as a registered or unregistered user you accept the terms and conditions and pledge to follow the code of conduct. So saying that you don't care about the rules will not end well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im saying idc if about you should respect other users this is why i just write my music cuz this is dumb and wasting my time ive been told by 3 people the same exact thing and the only one i did listen to is sammi cuz she gave me an example and GUIDED me through

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yes you should respect and be sensitive to other users and ambassadors and moderators. You are bound to do that by the Code of Conduct, you don't have any other option. Read the first line in CoC It says, \(\bf \text{Be Nice-I will stay positive, be friendly, and not mean}\) Read the last Part of CoC It says, `Finally, if you do make a mistake, please be respectful to the moderators.`
