Geometry 15 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

can any one help me with my analytic geometry quiz it is a 10 question quiz and I worked on it all night last night but I have no idea how to do it can be taken as many times until you get at least a 60% but you do like one question at a time and yeah.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is it, ive been doing geometry all year.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill at least give it a try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the first question??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so what area do you need to find??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain to me what lateral area is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cuz i have 88 165 and 187 for those 3 boxes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im looking up formulas online now, this is lateral area or surface area?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok and is a prism right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I think I have the formula right here then. it says the formula for the lateral area of a prism is PH, any idea what P or H stand for??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok yep i see here now, have to find the perimeter and the height first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im working with all the information i have, at least my help is better than none right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the perimeter i got is 102 but that does not include the 2 sides of the triangles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and im guessing that one of those two sides is the height

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im guessing, depending on what measurements those are

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i wasnt done yet, we need to multiply the perimeter by the height of the prism -.-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so put that cylinder back up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have all these tabs open for a cylinder, plz put it back up so i can do this. mathematics are my favorite class and your kind of making it hard for me to do this.
