this is for anyone who has to answer this question. The differences between Dynamic, Static, and Ballistic: Static- everyday stretches, holding the stretch to improve flexibility. Ex: reach down touch your toes and hold for 30 sec. Dynamic- My teacher described this as in between Static and Ballistic, she said not too many people do this. Ex: Easy movements that resemble the activity you are about to perform while breathing comfortably and easily. Ballistic- Only Pro Athletes can do this. Athletes need to be able to warm up quick and cool down quick. Using Ballistic stretches helps them warm up quickly. If the everyday average person did this they would be in the hospital. Ex: watching the Olympics you see the runners jumping up and down stretching their feet quickly and moving around sporadically. I came up with these please do not copy them just use what I said and understand it then you can make your own definitions that show the differences.
