Which inequality will have a dashed boundary line with a shaded area above its graph? 7x − y ≤ 3 x − y ≤ 4 2x − 9y > 2 4x + 7y > 3

dashed boundary line means there is no equal sign in the problem...that eliminated the first two shaded above means it is greater then. Now turn your inequalities into y = mx + b form 2x - 9y > 2 --- subtract 2x from both sides -9y > -2x + 2 -- divide by -9...and change inequality sign y < 2/9x - 2/9 this says y is less then.....we need greater then...this is not it try the next one.. 4x + 7y > 3 --- subtract 4x from both sides 7y > 4x + 3 -- divide by 7 y > 4/7x + 3/7 this says y is greater then...this is the one we want any questions ?
i have one another question
Which inequality will have a solid boundary line and a shaded region above its graph? x − y ≥ 3 2x − 3y ≤ 3 3y − x < 2 2x + y < 7
