Why did many Americans move to the suburbs after World War II? A. Wages were higher in the suburbs. B. Fewer people owned automobiles. C. The suburbs had more job opportunities. D. The cities were dirty and dangerous.

Several factors; key among them being improved transportation networks (more roads being built), and a change in the way loans were made on housing that favored mortgage loans on single family detached houses as compared to multiple dwellings and attached dwellings like row houses. Pent up housing demand from returning WWII veterans who had started families also fed into this.
So my guess would be Either A or C
