The Quartering Act: obligated colonial legislations to meet the needs of British soldiers stationed in that colony The Stamp Act: mandated that colonists affix stamps to certain legal and commercial documents The Declaratory Act: stated that the Parliament had the absolute right to impose taxes on the colonists The Revenue Act: taxed goods such as paper and paint that the colonies imported from Britain The Sugar Act: increased the duties on sugar imported from the West Indies
