find the slope and y intercept of the graph of each equation y+1/2x=0 y-d=cx 2y+4n=-6x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so I'm starting to under stand slope and y intercept but i just need help understanding what to do here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i got you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can transfer some terms to the other side to put it into y=mx + b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First one u just subtract 1/2x from both sides. slope equals -1/2 and y-intercept is 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^^^^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok give me a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

second just add d to both. C is slope and D is y-interce[t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks guys i understand those now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Last one 2y+4n=-6x Subtract 4n on both sides 2y=-6x-4n Divide by tofor both to get y by its self y=-3x-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright I'm done with my hw :)
