OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know what they ask? and how to answer it? and yes he called and i froze so he's calling again at 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You just discuss the module. IF you have a failed competency. They go over it with you. Ask a few questions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay... do you know where to find the steps to solve '-2x<10'? he asked and i froze, i don't remember the steps i just usually either guessed right or got it wrong on the tests :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lemme tag some math helpers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okayss thankss

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Michele_Laino Can you help him? Thanks!

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

@Erykahbabe please divide both side of your inequality by 2, nemly, calculate this, please: \[\frac{ -2x }{ 2 }<\frac{ 10 }{ 2 }\] please try!

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

for example, left side is equals to -x, and right side?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i solved it but can you check it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

step 1 - multiply both sides by -1 = 2x>-10 step 2 divide both sides by 2 = x> - \[10 \over 2 \] step 3 simplify \[10 \over 2\] to 5 = x>-5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Michele_Laino

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

@Erykahbabe that's right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay thanks @Michele_Laino

OpenStudy (michele_laino):
