Like I said, I use gimp, did a selection, then either rotate colors or do an overlay. If it is a rotation is is on another layer. If it is on an overlay it is the same layer.

I once saw a baby girl with strange eyes.

Either the shaded was brown and the not shaded was blue or it was the other way around.
