Lipids - Proteins - Carbohydrate Which items go in which category?
The choices are: *stored energy *C, H, O *C, H, O, N *C, H, O, and sometimes P *amino acids *enzymes *fast fuel *fatty acids *glycerol *monosaccharides *polypeptides *product of photosynthesis
Okay well are there any that you know for sure go in a certain category?
No, I'm totally lost honestly. :(
I know Aminos are proteins
Okay so CHO is the molecular structure of lipids and carbs, CHON is for proteins
anything with saccharide in it is a carb
polypetides are the bonds between amino acids (proteins)
glucose which is a product of photosynthesis is a carbohydrate.
glucose, a carbohydrate is a product of photsynthsis
enzymes are proteins
fats (lipids) have stored energy
Did I hit everything?
glycerol is a carbohydrate?
no glucose is a carbohydrate, glycerol is a form of lipid along with fatty acids
What about C, H, O C, H, O, N C, H, O
CHO is carbs CHON is protein CHO is lipid
I wrote it wrong. The first was CHO & then "CHO & sometimes P"
Because you wrote CHO is carbs and lipid..
Cho and P is I believe lipid...
What about just CHO by itself?
carbs
And what about **fast fuel **stored energy **monosaccharides **product of photosynthesis
all are carbs except stored energy which is lipid
Thank you SO much! :)
