In a game played with red and black chips (poker hahaha), John had twice as many black chips as red chips. Each red chip has a value 5 points, and each black chip (racist!) 10. If John has a total of 150 points, how many chips of each type (aww... I'm hungry) does he have?

He'll have 6 red chips and 12 black chips The red chips have to be an even number, since the sum doesn't end in 5, and from there you can plug in guesses. Or you could set up a function, wouldn't be hard to solve.
