A bag holds the following marbles: 6 blue 5 gold 4 white 3 orange 2 clear Andrew is hoping to get either a clear one or a white one, since he doesn't have those colors yet. What are the chances that the next marble he picks at random will be either clear or white?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

total marbles = 20 chances for clear are 2/20 which reduces to 1/10 chances for white are 4/20 which reduces to 2/5 1/10 * 2/5 = 2/50 which reduces to 1/25 (chances of choosing clear or white)
