Check! If I'm wrong, do not tell me the answer. What is the difference of j and k? j(x) = x – 14 k(x) = 7 + x (j – k)(x) = –21 <--- (j – k)(x) = –21 + 2x (j – k)(x) = –7 (j – k)(x) = –7 + 2x

OpenStudy (zela101):

Difference means to subtract. So subtract function f and k together. (x – 14)- (7 + x) x-14-7-x=-21 the xs will cancel out

OpenStudy (zela101):

so you are correct :)
