OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hoslos break it down again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hoslos please i need help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So this is about experiment. Can you put your question a bit clearer? I just did not get the part of mass gain of sample.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its determination of percent of water

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need help finding the percent of water in sample and mass of water lost

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I sent you a message about it. Did not you see?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30.32 grams of mass of empty beaker 31.6 mass of beaker and sample before drying mass of total sample including water ? mass of beaker and sample after drying 31.54 grams mass of water lost ? percent of water in sample?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hoslos u there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do not worry. I am here to help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright. Let us first find the mass of sample=31.6-30.32=1.28grams. Meaning water is included in this mass, because it then dries. So to concretize the mass of water in sample is 31.6-31.54=0.06grams. Let us use ratio and proportion: Mass of sample:100% Mass of water:x Then x =mass of water*100/mass of sample=0.06*100/1.28=4.69%

thx so much help
