How do you break down exponential functions domain and range?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Do you know what Domain and Range are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No..

OpenStudy (igreen):

Domain is the x-values of a function. Range is the y-values of a function. Get it..? Like if one function has (2, 5), (3, 8), (4, 10), (6, 13) The Domain of that function will be 2, 3, 4, and 6. And the Range will be 5, 8, 10, and 13.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay I get that, but can you give me an problem example?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Okay, here's one. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/mdzig1xo7c The domain of this would be 1-5, and the range would be 2-6.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aww thank you soooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (igreen):

No problem.
