HELP!!!!!

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

The circumference of a circle is 92.6 cm. What is the radius of the circle?

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

@uri @scburchell11 @Callisto @CaseyCarns @andreaardzz @Brandonsnider188

OpenStudy (perl):

you can use the formula C = 2 * Pi * R it is helpful to say this quietly to yourself circumference is 2 Pie Rrrrr

OpenStudy (perl):

R stands for radius

OpenStudy (perl):

and area is Pi R squared A = pi * R ^2

OpenStudy (perl):

plug in 92.6 for radius , and solve for C C = 2 * Pi * R C = 2* pi * 92.6

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

ok what about this one?? The area of a circle is 504 m2. Which is the circumference of the circle?

OpenStudy (perl):

ok lets use thes formula A = pi * R ^2 504 = Pi * R^2 , solve for R and be careful about the square , you will have to square root

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

504 is squared to right??
