Amy ran twice as many miles on Tuesday as she ran on Monday. Amy ran 2 mi on Monday. How many total miles did Amy run on Monday and Tuesday?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8 @hartnn @Hero

OpenStudy (mrnood):

Miles on Monday = 2 Miles on Tuesday = 2 x Miles on Monday = ? Total miles = Miles on Monday + Miles on Tuesday Try this for yourself, and see if you can do it. If not then please explain where you are having difficulty.

OpenStudy (uri):

Monday :x Tuesday :2x 2 miles on Monday 2(2) on Tuesday 2+4=6 miles on both days

OpenStudy (superflytyguy):

2 mi x twice as many miles = 4 mi on Tuesday 2 miles + 4 miles = 6 miles on Monday and Tuesday

OpenStudy (mrnood):

OH for goodness sake - @uri @superfly PLEASE do not post complete answers to trivial questions like this. The OP MUST try this for themselves before giving the answer

OpenStudy (uri):
