there should be a cooking section were you could swop recipes what do you think
sure lol!
@Abhisar would like this idea xD
@Abhisar
Exactly ! I agree the idea, infact i was thinking the same. A section where you can ask about cooking science.
sure? i guess?
Hmm... Cooking Science seems like it would be a cool subject! Bahaha.. I don't cook much, but I would like to know how to cook something.
I've always supported having a cooking section.
waoooooo so then user should give us FOOD instead of medals does anybody know how to make chocolates :P
The problem being these sections are almost always inactive. Instead of, "cooking," it would almost certainly be, "culinary." If you can get enough people together, I don't see a problem with it. Then again, if we did that, then coffee brewing would presue.
lol True @Nnesha
yesh lol
I like this idea
When we were trying to figure @e.mccormick gender he argued that he swapped cooking recipes with someone. I wonder how.
I agree big time!!:) http://prntscr.com/5f24lf @Daniel_Chernioglo should know what this is. Yummy stuff:)
Oh ya :) rahaliki
eh i dont know how to spell it in english
Hhaha!! Yes:) Those are good. I spell it like rogaliki or something like that..And like the Medovik tort?
Ya kinda
Yes, i need to discuss my coffee brewing techniques!
haha ya i think it would be a great idea to include a cooking section :)
I won't give out the recipes for the cakes though, hha!! Medovik tort, Daniel http://prntscr.com/5f27do
hey!!! what is that
if you all seee our food you gonna forget about this food :Pjk
*ahem* @Abhisar 's favorite food.
@Abhisar Use an AeroPress @confluxepic Through DMs. I sent @whitemonsterbunny17 and a few others cupcake and cookie recpies through DMs.

oooooohhhhhh yummy @confluxepic
Yes. @sleepyjess Us chocolate lovers love it.
Stick to the topic please....
@confluxepic it depends on what type of nationality you are
Ok. As Abhisar said. Lets stick to the topic.
isnt it still on the topic?
It is about having a cooking section, Give your feedback regarding it. Don't discuss what food you like or dislike..
Yes, i agree im sorry
A cooking section would be a good idea because home cooked meals are ultimately better rather than going out to eat by having a healthy diet. For example if you'e on open study and studying for finals, good nutrition often slides way down on the priority list. It’s easy to get into the habit of glugging coffee and gobbling take-out pizza, because you don’t want to waste time on food preparation. But, actually, good nutrition should be part of your study plan because it’s going to help you ace those tests. The better the fuel your brain gets, the better you’ll study. It’s a…well…no-brainer. XD
The diamonds happen when something is copy and pasting. If you don't want to see the diamonds. Just refresh your page. Easiest and only solution.
I did and basically I'm sure if there was a cooking section the mod's would want everyone to talk about cooking healthy foods.
well that is not all true because it is a food section not a healthy food section
Anyone can grill a greasy cheeseburger and fry some garlic fries lol
But any food that you like go ahead and cook it:)
does any one have any recipes they what to share now
I don't have any recipes I just read about them and take notes on it but if you have any you'd like to share I wouldn't mind writing them now and learning:)
ok guys i'll go first first recipe OMG laughing out lout
Cooking science? It's culinary arts...
lol @Nnesha haha
lol yep yep :P it is indeed :) I was planning on going to college to practice culinary arts once I graduate but now I think that's a bad idea.... :P
Here is an excellent recipe for the holidays! http://allrecipes.com/recipe/peppermint-meringues/ and yes, I have made these before and they turn out delicious! I literally could not stop eating them lol :P
Or if you want to cover a wide, more basic topic, it was Home Economics. Though that class is dead in a lot of schools.
has any one ever made a coka cola cake
No. I just but it.
Home economics can pretty much include anything like sewing/cooking/etc (that's what it is at my old school) so that wouldn't be good for people who are only interested in cooking, not cooking. Although it can be good if people also want to learn how to can. :D
Oh. Cake. Never heard of that. Do you mix coca cola with it or what.
there is coke in the cake and the icing it is very good and rich
That doesn't sound very appealing.... but another good thing to try is www.onceuponacuttingboard.com/2011/.../peanut-butter-turtle-rolls.html I'm not sure if the link still works......it has been awhile since I went to the website....I just printed it out and then put it in my personal cook book :/
And again we are off-topic... :/
I think Comp tried to post this here.. but posted it in the wrong post.. http://prntscr.com/5f45rl
^ lol
nope. That was correct
oh ok lol Anyalyzes all his moves before he posted it.
Lol
The map of a feedback post...
whaaa?
Oh! lol
Yah, so we talked about the need for cooking and now people are using this post as the cooking area... that is a side topic, so we are in Sidetopica!
haha yeah........whoopsies! Sorry 'bout that :P
lol
I support the idea of having a cooking section too! :)
This is Openstudy, not Opencooking.
This website is supposed to be on help with your work, not help with cooking.
I agree @Conqueror ... But it wouldn't be cooking necessarily just "Culinary Arts" or "Home Ed"
What ... ?
I mean it wouldn't be cooking necessarily just be cooking it would "Culinary Arts" or "Home Ed"
I agree with @conqueror but what about the LaTeX Practicing section and the Design section. Those are just for fun so a cooking section won't matter.
Exclude them for all I care, they're just distractions.
LaTeX practicing introduces and teaches people simple LaTeX coding = educational Design = there are art classes in schools and same with cooking class it was a required course for me in 8th grade
@Conqueror you can't tell me that you don't enjoy those groups, because I know you do, just like a lot of other people.
"This website is supposed to be on help with your work, not help with cooking." I wonder why we have a music and design section then.....
Lot's of peeps have been recently been requesting a cooking subject. I think there should be one :P.. Same reasons as I posted in the other posts. I needa know how to cook something besides pancakes
Make fluffy buttery eggs <3
or toast ... lol
@haleyelizabeth2017 I thought I liked those things, but I soon found out they were distractions that kept me from doing my school work.
Let's also add a football section, some people might become good football players and then they would have to memorize plays. You know what this example is called? An excuse, just like this question is. Making excuses to create a stupid topic.
no @Conqueror
who likes football? thats stupid
Lol, who doesn't like football ?
who likes @Conqueror ? thats stupid
not me -_- you can kill yourself
@Conqueror football questions can go into the Health Science section (physical education) and Design, Cooking, Music, are all classes that schools do have
