You just have to get the x alone o one side. Do you know how?
*on one side
By moving the 1/6 to the other side, it turn negative. this gives you \[x=6-\frac{ 1 }{ 6 }\]
Now you solve 6 - 1/6 and that is your answer.
You have to turn 1/6 into a decimal.
To do this, you just divide 1 into 6. 1 divided by 6 = 0.16666666666
You can round that to .17
Can you do 6-.17=?
You get 5.83. All you have left to do is turn that into a mixed fraction.
The 5 is already a whole, so you keep it that way. the .83 is i the hundredths places, so it is 83/100
\[5 \frac{ 83 }{ 100 }\]
Now you simplify that.
Once you do, you get 5/6 so your final answer is \[C. 5\frac{ 5 }{ 6 }\]
Thanks cx i would have never gotten that answer o.o
Lol no problem. :)
