Can someone check my answer? Evaluate the expression by using the given value of the variables. y ÷ 2 • 4 – 10 ÷ x + 6 where x = 5 and y = 16 i got 21 @k_lynn

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

You need to plug in 5 for everywhere there is an x and a 16 everywhere there is a y. So now the equation looks like this. \[16\div2\times4-10\div5+6\] Just plug that into a scientific calculator and get 36. Or use PEMDAS. Just give me a second to use PEMDAS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind, i got 36
