open study is good or bad and why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Open study is a very good website that helps you with your Home work, we have tutors online to help with whatever question you need. i wouldn't say its bad because this website is designed to help you! :)

Hi Welcome to Openstudy! I think you should post this in Openstudy Feedback Section next time, so that OS users can easily see your question in the appropriate section. As a learner, I would say that Openstudy have been a good site for me. It helped me do my assignments, the users also helped me learn new things and tricks to solve different problems that I'm still using until now. It has been playing a large role in my student life. Ms. Preetha, the founder of the site, is very approachable and very helpful. No wonder OS maintain a good environment for studying (: I've been in the system for over a year now and I'll be finishing my high school with good marks because of this site. The only "bad" thing about OS depends on you as a user. This site is like a combination of socializing and studying site for students. In chats, if you started staying in OS chats because you meet different people, you'll tend to get addicted (like me before, but I controlled myself and now I learned my limits ).Other than that OS is really great (except of the small glitches, Orange wars and lagging lol)

If open study is so good, then why dont i ever get any answers? The only time i get answers is when i ask questions like this....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm... sometimes there is to many questions to be answered, its not that we dont want to answer your questions its that were busy. you can also tag people to ur questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sometimes my questions sit at the top of the list and still don't get answered....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:( sorry for that.... how about you tag me in ur Questions and ill try my best to help you

\(\sf One\), Openstudy is only here to HELP you with your assignments, NOT to provide answers. \(\sf Two\), I understand that most of the sections here in Openstudy is not so active, so in order to get help, I would suggest that you tag users by adding "@" before their usernames. But you should not mass tag a lot of people for it is considered spamming. Other way is copy the link of your question and post it in different chat boxes (especially the ones that are active like Math, English and Music chatboxes). Last method is to private message a user who you think can help you. But you should be polite when asking for help and don't just send them the the exact question for there is chance that they might ignore it. Here's what I used to message people " Hi, are you busy? are you good with (subject) ? I'm just wondering if you could help me understand this problem. Thank you".
