OpenStudy (confluxepic):

What is the full question. @magan @~

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Oh. It came.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

The first thing you do is put like terms to one side.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Can you do that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry no i have no idea what to do

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

You can add 6 and subtract 7x or subtract 18 and subtract 3x.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Basically you have to use PEMDAS.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so i can answer this with using order of operatons?

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

\[3x-6=7x+18\]

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Yes.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

But it is barely similar.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you just do this one so i can see and do the rest myself?

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

\(3x-6=7x+18\) Subtract by -6 on both sides. \(+6~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+6\) We get this. \(3x=7x+24\) Then you subtract by -7 on both sides. \(-7x~~~~~~-7x\) We get this. \(-4x=24\) After that we divide by -4 on both sides. We get our answer. \(x=-6\)
