Jackie had $135 to spend at the mall. She spent 29% of that money on a dress. Jackie spent $__ on a dress

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do 135x.29 then subtract that number from 135 to find the price of the dress

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im guessing 27 cause i didn't on paper

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no 135 times .29 = 39.15 now take 135-39.15 = 95.85

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

yea thats what i ment @madstim im not thinking straight today

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so that is your answer

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

This is a simpler problem than has been written above. She spent 29% of $135 on the dress. Just find 29% of $135. To do that just multiply 29% by $135. 29% is the same as 0.29, so just multiply 0.29 * $135

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 39.15

OpenStudy (lizz123):

yeah it is 026 * 135 equals 39.15
