What does "medals for asking" mean under engagement?

If you ask question, and someone gives you a medal for your question (on your post) then it counts as a "Medal for Asking."

For example, you post a math problem and someone comes along and helps you solve it. You both thank each other and before leaving, he gives you a medal for your participation.
