1.) Well first of all God sent His only Son down to earth to die for us...to die for you!!! He loves you that much that He was willing to sacrifice His son's pain and suffering on earth so that you might live with God in Heaven forever!

2.) I agree with @Algorithmic about free will. God didn't have to give us the option to choose. He could have easily told us what to do and let us follow but instead He wants us to prove our love for Him by CHOOSING to follow Him.

3.) Now think of your family, friends, home, food, every single thing you have is a blessing from God. He has blessed you with many things! Although many don't realize it at times, especially during rough times, God has blessed us all. We just need to reflect on all we have. All we have been given.
