function f(x) = 4x - 3?
f(x) is the "y" value on the graph. So this is
y= 4x-3
try a few points: if x is 0, what is y? any idea ?

I'm just really bad at graphs But i got B

do you know how to replace the x with 0: erase the x, and write in 0 in
y = 4*x-3
then simplify. what do you get ?

OpenStudy (phi):
remember "order of operations"
you do the multiply first, then the add or subtract.

jj found the answer: when x=0 you do
y = 4*0 - 3
4 times 0 is 0, so y= 0-3
and that is y=-3
so (0,-3) is on the line.
can yo find (0,-3) ? you put your finger on the x-axis (horizontal line) at 0
move down 3 steps.
which line do you get to ?
