its hard to explain but heres an example that you might understand: you know 9X9 is 81 right? whats the square root of 81 then? its 9 a number times itself like 2X2 is 4 take the final number (4 in this case) then what number times itself equals that number? that's the square root! hopefully you understand and this isn't confusing to you. :)
