Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune--without the words, And never stops at all, 'And sweetest in the gale is heard; And sore must be the storm That could abash the little bird That kept so many warm. 'I've heard it in the chillest land, And on the strangest sea; Yet, never, in extremity, It asked a crumb of me.' This question uses the same Emily wingspaninson poem. In this poem, which 2 things are being compared? (Points : 2) Hope is compared to a bird A bird is compared to her soul A storm is compared to a song The sea is compared to the land

Hope is like a bird that sits inside you and sings. You cannot hear the words of the song (often you do not know what you are hoping for) but the music continues always. The worse the things are that happen to you, the more Hope's music will strengthen you to endure them; and there is no tribulation so severe that it will quench Hope's redeeming song. No matter how bad things were for me, I could always find Hope's song in my heart; but though Hope gave me strength to overcome all my trials it never cost me anything at all.
