Help please for the function g(x)= 1/(x-4) + 2 I know the asymptotes are x=4 and y=2 but how do I find five or more values in a table of values?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

let x be some value, and solve the equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just any value?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

when x = 'this' ... g = 'that' just pick some values for x and work out the solution for g ... make a list of it all (a table)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

as long as x is not 4 ... any other values should be fine in constructing a table

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you, I got it now

OpenStudy (amistre64):

youre welcome
