undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Can some one explain to me real and complex zeros?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

a real zero is an intercept on a real number line a complex zero does not need to be on the real number line

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if we define a complex number as: z = (a + bi), such that a and b are real, and integers then we can define a real numberas: r = (a + bi), such that b=0

OpenStudy (amistre64):

in which case, real numbers are a special kind of complex number

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Thanks for that @amistre64 but do you mind giving me an equation example of each?
