Prepping for TSI: I don't recall working out solutions though Which of the following equations has both 1 and −3 as solutions? A. x^2 − 2x − 3 = 0 B. x^2 + 2x − 3 = 0 C. x^2 − 4x + 3 = 0 D. x^2 + 4x + 3 = 0

do you know what "solution" means? it means when x=1 or x=-3 you should get 0 (in other words, the left side of the equation equals the right side)
